A Synopsis of Eden, Dawn

Fleeing an Earth inferno, thirty thousand humans landed on the terrifying yet beautiful planet, they’d named Eden; a term capturing their hopes of a new start. Ten years later three hundred and sixty-seven survive; holding out against a formidable indigenous species known, initially, only as them, and facing insidious deceit and betrayal from within their own ranks.

Self-effacing seventeen-year-old Ristan Abel finds himself front and centre; discovering the truth about them, and the human traitor they’re allying with to exterminate all of mankind.

But is it all too little, too late?

Wrestling with his own sense of identity and a plethora of personal inadequacies; plagued by memories of Earth’s final days and elusive memories of his late mother; struggling through awakened feelings for a girl his best friend loves; crying out for a father-figure he can lean on … Ristan finds himself. And in the crucible of finding himself, he becomes a reluctant answer to mankind’s predicament.

Eden, Dawn ~ The Chronicles of Paradise

Welcome to planet Zika, named such by the planet’s native species, the Zikalic. A planet of stunning contrasts—unspeakable wonder and matchless horror—ruled by the monstrous Xakanic. Bent on annihilating the human race, the Head Chief of the Zikalic serves his own twisted agenda: to strengthen his rule over the bejewelled City of Zika.

Fascinated by the themes of courage, betrayal, forgiveness, reluctant heroism, and the reverberating emotions of young love and parental loss; author Archer Swift captures these pulsating cords in an otherworldly cocktail of conflict and chaos. His setting—on another planet post an Earth apocalypse—contextualises a tale of edge-of-the-seat survival and conflict; high drama and emotion. And yes, it does include an evolving four-way love twist.

Welcome to a new planet, a new species, a new hero and a brand-new adventure. Eden, Dawn will have you eagerly anticipating the next installment!

“…brooding, poignant and full of feeling…”

(Susan Collins)

Thanks for your interest. Yes, the initial launch date was January this year. However, several chapters required a rewrite to better align the plot trajectory in Dawn with Noon and Dusk. I’m looking at a possible launch date early in May. Watch the site for more details.

That’s great news. I was one of the hundred or so who got the chance to read the sneak peak first ten chapters last year November. Amped for this book!

I meant to ask: Is that Susan Collins quote from Susan Collins Publishing?

Yes, the one and only. She’s on an extended break at the moment, but wrote a review for me. Not sure what I did right, but delighted by the support.
